In our first series, we focused on preparing students for the process of introducing themselves to the industry. They learned how to make a strong and lasting impression in a short amount of time. We worked with students to help them develop the skills and confidence they needed to navigate the often-challenging world of professional musical theater.
This next intensive, we are shifting our focus to preparing students for what it's like to be IN the industry. This includes everything from rehearsing and performing in a professional production to learning how to work with a team and handle the demands of a rigorous schedule. By giving students a taste of what it's really like to be a working actor, singer, or dancer, they will be better equipped to succeed in the competitive world of musical theater. That means not only rehearsing and perfecting their craft, but also learning how to overcome the challenges and setbacks that inevitably arise during the creative process. By tackling these problems head-on and in a healthy, mature way, our students will grow as performers and develop essential skills that will serve them well in any career path they choose.
At the same time, we are committed to prioritizing the mental health of our students. Preparing for a musical can be intense and demanding, and we are dedicated to providing the support and resources necessary to ensure that our students can thrive both personally and professionally. If you are an aspiring actor, singer, or dancer, this intensive is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to take your skills to the next level and experience the thrill of bringing a professional production to life.
